Ham and Brie Open-Faced Sandwich

Recipe Description

This recipe is a step above your everyday lunch. Featuring Carolina Pride ham, brie cheese and pear slices on pumpernickel bread, this is one upscale sandwich.

Ingredients

  • 1 small pear
  • Lemon juice
  • 4 slices square pumpernickel bread
  • 4 oz. Brie cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 (4 oz.) pkg. sliced Cooked Carolina Prideâ„¢ Ham
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Directions

Cut pear lengthwise into very thin slices; brush with lemon juice. For each serving, on large dinner plate, arrange 2 slices pumpernickel bread, side by side, to form a rectangle; spread bread with half of Brie; top with half of ham, and 2 or 3 slices of pear. Garnish with parsley.
